Unexplained death, Plympton

Police have arrested two people in connection with the death of a man in his 40s at an address in Plympton this morning.

Police were called to Moorland Road at around 6.10am with a report of concern for a man.

Emergency services attended and a man in his 40s was declared deceased at the scene. His death is currently being treated as unexplained.

A police cordon is in place while officers conduct enquiries at the scene.

A man in his 70s from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of murder and woman in her 40s from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and are in police custody this morning.
