California Attorney General vows to sue if Trump revokes state’s clean car waiver
Tuesday, 17 September 2019 California’s Attorney General on Tuesday vowed to sue the Trump administration if it moved forward with revoking the state’s authority to enforce stricter car emission standards.
As the Trump administration moved to strip California of its authority to set its own auto emissions standards, Environmental Protection Agency administrator Andrew Wheeler on Thursday said "no state has the authority to opt out of national fuel economy standards." Yahaira Jaquez reports.
