Aladtec Team Will Demo New Extra Hours Feature During EMS Today Conference at National Harbor

Cloud-based application streamlines scheduling, puts workforce tools on smartphones, tablets.

Aladtec, a Wisconsin-based provider of cloud-based scheduling and workforce management software, will be among 250 vendors presenting products and services to professionals attending the EMS Today Conference and Exhibition, Feb. 20-22, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
As of early February, more than 900 EMS agencies are using Aladtec to assure 24/7 staffing coverage, swiftly fill open shifts, record OT hours, and allow members to trade shifts and request time off. The program also includes a sophisticated form tool to speed up daily routines like rig- and med checks.
Aladtec has more than 140,000 active users among its 2,200 subscribers across the U.S and Canada. Members access the platform from any smartphone, tablet or desktop with internet connectivity.
“Before using Aladtec, I spent a lot of time dealing with trade requests from members. Now they take care of their own trades. It's also very easy to check the schedule from anywhere,” said Dale Dow, Deputy Chief with Fitch Rona Fire & EMS, which serves the Dane County (WI) communities of Fitchburg and Verona. “We'll never go back to paper scheduling."

Account executive Court Maumee, System Specialist Jeremy Rodewald, and Support Specialist Moriah Boldon will offer free demonstrations of the software and answer user questions about features, such as the newly released Extra Hours function.
The software enhancement provides members with an easy way to record unplanned shifts, holdovers, shift variances, shift adjustments, and unscheduled overtime after the fact. Once the shift has ended, a member enters the unscheduled time via smartphone, tablet or desktop computer, and the request is forwarded to a supervisor for approval. The additional hours are added to the schedule and can be documented as part of the regular reporting process.
The exhibit floor at EMS Today will be open for attendees from 3 to 6 pm, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 10 am to 5 pm, Thursday, Feb. 21, and from 10 am to 1 pm, Friday, Feb. 22.
The conference features more than 200 educational sessions to provide First Responders with continuing education from a large assembly of faculty and practitioners.
