*WILMINGTON, DE / ACCESSWIRE / December 31, 2021 / *Delaware's Supreme Court upheld a $6.1 million Chancery Court win for investors who sued* *Joaquin Altenberg, the manager of the solar power venture Vert Solar Finance LLC for "egregious fraud and misrepresentation" and "serial misconduct."
Now, Altenberg is facing collections in Texas, his place of residence. The collections website JoaquinAltenberg.info has been created in-order-to inform the public that Altenberg's non-exempt assets belong to the Receiver and to ask for the public's help in locating Altenberg's assets so that they can be collected used to help pay Altenberg's debt to the victimized investors.
The Receiver, Travis Vargo is Texas resident, lawyer licensed by the State Bar of Texas, and appointed by the 11^th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas. He has the power to take charge and possession of all nonexempt personal and non-homestead real estate of Mr. Altenberg. This includes, but is not limited to, all cash, bank accounts, securities, jewelry, animals, tools, real estate, insurance, contractual rights, causes of action, and anything of value that is not expressly exempt from collection by the Texas Property Code.
As of today, Altenberg has not voluntarily made any payments toward his civil judgment and collections have been minimal. Altenberg is known to do business in Puerto Rico and other places outside Texas. The Receiver needs the public's assistance.
