WB Surf Camp Announces Release of its 2017 Kids Summer Camps Catalog

Ocean adventure camps give kids ages six to twelve the opportunity to explore the ocean while building self-confidence and making friends.

WB Surf Camp recently released their 2017 Kids Summer Camps Catalog, detailing the awesome adventures available this summer for the younger surfer set. With day camp and residential overnight options, campers boogie board, surf, learn about the coastal ecosystem, are educated about ocean safety, and much more. The goal is for kids to develop a love and respect for the ocean, gain confidence and develop character, all while having the best summer ever.

Kids Summer Camp Choices Include:

Guppy Camp Ages 6 – 10, Week long day summer camp.·     Daily boogie board sessions

·     Meeting the patients at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital
·     Learning to play the ukulele
·     Guided tour of the Fort Fisher Aquarium

Grom Ocean Academy Ages 8 – 11, Week long day surf camp.

·     Daily advanced boogie board sessions
·     Two half days of surfing taught with a 2:1 student to instructor ratio
·     Advanced oceanography instruction
·     Meet the patients at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital
·     Behind the scenes tour at the NC Aquarium
·     Fish collection and identification at the Kure Beach Pier
·     Salt marsh exploration with animal interactions
·     Coastal ecology education and conservation

Kids Surf Camp Ages 6 – 10, Week long day surf camp
.·     10 hours of personalized surf instruction with a 2:1 student to instructor ratio

·     Daily ground school with interactive, surf related discussions including: surfboard design, surfing etiquette, water quality and more
·     Safe and comfortable learning environment

Carolina Ocean Odyssey Ages 10 – 12, Week long overnight summer camp.

·     Ocean View lodging on beautiful Topsail Island
·     Kayak trip through the salt marsh
·     Paddleboard tour through Topsail Island sound
·     Observe sea turtle care at The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center
·     Salt marsh exploration through coastal ecology activities

·     Enjoy a Hawaiian Luau and traditional camp activities
