President Trump issues Ash Wednesday message (White House)

President Trump has continued President Obama’s practice of issuing a statement on Ash Wednesday. “This powerful and sacred tradition reminds us of our shared mortality, Christ’s saving love, and the need to repent and accept the Gospel more fully,” President Trump said in his 2020 message.
