An upcoming version of the Microsoft Edge browser for iOS will allow users to set it as the default browser on the iPhone. The next major iOS update, which is expected to be announced today and become available for the iPhone 6s and newer by the end of the month, will finally allow users to change the default browser on their iPhones. This is a massive change for Apple, as the company has enforced Safari as the default browser for many years already.
