Microsoft has released a new Windows 10 preview build for insiders enrolled in the Beta and Release preview channels of the testing program. More specifically, Windows 10 build 19042.541 is available with the installation of cumulative update KB4577063, and it is a preview of Windows 10 version 20H2, or the October 2020 Update. First and foremost, one of the most notable improvements concerns the Windows Subsystem for Linux, which now works correctly thanks to this update. Previously, users running Windows 10 October 2020 Update preview builds couldn’t launch WSL on their devices because the process failed with an “Element not found” error. This update also introduces a warning for Internet Explorer 11 users that reminds support for Adobe Flash Player is coming to an end in December this year.
