Windows 11 is now live with so many improvements, but on the other hand, there’s still missing one small detail that many users still want and need: a battery level indicator that would display the remaining percentage right in the taskbar. At this point, both Windows 10 and Windows 11 come with a battery icon in the system tray, but in both cases, they only show a graphic of how full the battery currently is. Hovering the icon reveals the remaining percentage and an estimate of how long the device is going to last on battery power alone. However, plenty of users have turned to the Feedback Hub on Windows to ask Microsoft to add a very simple update: allow the icon to be converted into a percentage indicator, therefore making it much easier to determine how much juice there’s still left in the battery.
