Widow of Orlando nightclub gunman goes on trial, facing life in prison
Wednesday, 14 March 2018 () ORLANDO (Reuters) - A trial for the widow of the gunman who killed 49 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in what prosecutors say was an attack in the name of Islamic State, was set to begin on Thursday with opening statements by both sides.
The widow of the Orlando nightclub shooter is on trial for her alleged role in the massacre. Prosecutors showed the jury surveillance video of the shooting, and on Friday it was made public. CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller reports.
