Parkland students introduce gun control proposal, including ban on assault weapons
Wednesday, 21 August 2019 March for Our Lives, a group founded by Parkland school shooting survivors, has proposed an ambitious array of gun control proposals, including a national gun registry and a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke was one of the first to endorse it.
Gun control rallies were held all over the country on Sunday, including in New York City, where protesters tried to send a message to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. TV 10/55's Hazel Sanchez reports
