Twitter users' phone numbers and emails were used for ads

Twitter has announced some of its users' data was "unintentionally" used for advertising purposes. The company said phone numbers and emails provided by users were used by third parties to target users with ads. Twitter had told its users that information was needed for security purposes. CNET senior producer Dan Patterson joined CBSN to discuss.
