Denver’s first red flag filing granted after man agrees to give up his guns for a year

A man was scheduled to appear for a court hearing Thursday, where a judge in Denver Probate Court would decide whether to keep the man's guns for up to a year. But the hearing was cancelled after the man and his attorney agreed Tuesday that the evidence supported a Denver police sergeant's request to keep the guns.
