Virus prompts city to okay tent camps for homeless

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, San Francisco is creating "safe sleeping villages" that allow homeless residents to maintain social distance and good hygiene in authorized tent encampments that provide food, toilets and washing stations. (May 22)
