'No justice, no peace': Thousands in London protest the death of Floyd
Wednesday, 3 June 2020 Thousands of people chanting "no justice, no peace, no racist police" and "black lives matter" gathered in central London on Wednesday to protest against racism after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Thousands of demonstrators marched through central London on Wednesday in solidarity with Black Live Matter protesters in the U.S. calling for an end to police brutality after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week.
Television presenter Caroline Flack was “seriously let down by theauthorities” and was “hounded” by the press over her forthcoming trial in theweeks before she killed herself, her inquest heard. The 40-year-old, wellknown for hosting Love Island and The X Factor, was found hanged at her homein Stoke Newington, north-east London, on February 15 2020.
