Iran rejects US demand for UN to restore sanctions

Iran has rejected a U.S. demand for the United Nations to restore sanctions against the Islamic state. The Trump administration on Thursday formally notified the United Nations of its demand for all U.N. sanctions on Iran to be restored. (Aug. 20)
