Joe Biden’s campaign just pulled the most deliciously petty prank on Donald Trump.
The former vice president pushed back hard on Trump’s lack of a COVID-19 plan during Thursday’s night final presidential debate, and now his campaign is capitalizing on that point with a hilarious new gag website.
The campaign tweeted a link to trumpcovidplan.com Friday with the caption, “After eight months of this pandemic, we finally found President Trump’s plan to beat COVID-19.”

The joke immediately becomes clear as soon as the website loads as an empty page with little else but a big ole’ “Not Found” message.
“The Trump plan to defeat the Coronavirus and reopen safely does not exist,” reads the line of text below.
But if you click on the “learn more” button just below that, more information backing up Biden’s point appears in a sparse yet surprisingly effective format.
“Donald Trump has had eight months to use science, public health, and the power of the Presidency to reopen safely and save American lives. But we are barely better equipped to manage the COVID-19 threat today than we were eight months ago,” the website reads. “Donald Trump has failed to lead and Americans are paying for it with their lives.”
Next comes a Jan. 22 quote from Trump in which he claims to have the virus “totally under control” and that it will be “just fine.”
