Protesters outside Sen. Josh Hawley's home were 'peaceful,' police say

Virginia authorities on Tuesday said protesters who gathered in front of the suburban Washington home of Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., were peaceful and left when informed the gathering violated local and state laws, hours after the Republican lawmaker claimed the group had threatened his family.
