Portland police union president resigns over ‘serious, isolated mistake’ related to city commissioner

The head of Portland's police union has resigned after only a few months over “serious, isolated mistake” related to an alleged hit-and-run incident that falsely implicated city Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty.
