Wildfires are burning out of control in San Diego County, where at least 30 homes have been destroyed and thousands of homes and businesses have been ordered evacuated. Fifty mph wind gusts and dry vegetation have helped spread the flames; and, at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in lower Manhattan, a single day in the life of America is frozen in time.
