11/6: Polar vortex might be on its way; Medal of Honor given to Civil War hero

A typhoon in the Bering Sea has set conditions in motion to send a blast of polar air into the heart of America. Wind chills could reach deep into the 20s and deep into the south; and, even after he was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg, 22-year-old Alonzo Cummings moved his command deeper into the battle, helping to turn the tide of the entire war.
