Prince Philip, husband of UK Queen, dies aged 99
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, married into a role he had to shape for himself. Know as the queen's bedrock, he faithfully promoted British business and science abroad, and was one of the early promoters of environmental protection. (April 9)
