TLC’s ‘Trading Spaces’ Star Takes Shot at HGTV Darling Joanna Gaines
Friday, 12 January 2018 Them’s fightin’ words, Paige Davis. The “Trading Spaces” host just took a thinly veiled shot at Joanna Gaines and the HGTV “Fixer Upper” star’s favorite design element.
At Friday’s Television Critics Association press tour, one journalist asked a panel of stars from the returning TLC show about their least-favorite home-design trends.
“I’m wondering if you are in agreement for certain types of design trends to disappear, and what some of your pet peeves are and some of the things that you have to talk homeowners out of — like, strongly — and steer them away from?” the reporter asked.
“Like shiplap?” Davis (pictured above, left) asked, eliciting laughter from the panel and the ballroom.
