This Week in History: October 15th - October 21stby 👨‍💻 Graham Pierrepoint

It’s that time again – it’s always worth dipping into history here and there, not only because there’s plenty of lessons to be learned – it’s fascinating to see where we’ve come from, how far we’ve travelled, and how things have changed in the decades and centuries gone by. Let’s take a look at this week back in time – and take a trip back to historic October!

The #MeToo movement is perhaps one of the most important social movements of recent times – as Alyssa Milano took to Twitter to encourage anyone who had ever been sexually assaulted or harassed to reply with ‘me too’. This movement would eventually lead to a number of high profile names being investigated for alleged misdemeanors.

October 21st, 1945 – French Women Get the Vote
