Iran slams Netanyahu land annexation pledge as election ploy
Wednesday, 11 September 2019 Iran's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plans to annex the Jordan Valley and his frequent accusations against Tehran were ploys to win re-election, the semi-official news agency Tasnim reported.
Palestinians vow to defy Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to annex the Jordan Valley, saying the land isn't his to hold on to. The Israeli prime minister made the pledge ahead of next week's election. Lucy Fielder reports.
