Portugal's Socialists extend lead for October 6 election: survey

Portugal's ruling Socialists extended their lead in a new opinion poll ahead of an Oct. 6 parliamentary election, and were also well ahead of the opposition in another survey published on Friday, although the party remained short of a majority.
