Fox News calls off 'upfront' advertising event amid coronavirus fears

Fox News, the TV channel owned by media company Fox Corp, on Tuesday said it is cancelling its 'upfront' advertising event in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

Cosby Owes Millions In Legal Fees

Last year a judge ordered Bill Cosby to pay $2.75 million in legal bills to a California law firm. The law firm, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, of Los Angeles, Calif said Cosby hasn't paid the money as yet. Fox News reports that on Friday, the firm filed papers in Manhattan Supreme Court saying Cosby was delinquent in payment. The firm says because of 10 percent interest that has accrued, they are now owed $2.98 million.

Tucker Carlson Loses Top Writer

The top writer for Fox News host Tucker Carlson has been fired. For years Blake Neff used a pseudonym to post bigoted remarks on an online forum that is a hotbed for racist, sexist, and other offensive content. Neff's posts frequently used the n-word and other derogatory slurs for blacks, latinos, Asians, gays, women, Muslims, and liberals. A Fox News spokesperson said Carlson could not be reached for comment. Neff did not respond to multiple requests for comment from CNN business.
