UK nowhere near lifting coronavirus lockdown: London mayor
Wednesday, 8 April 2020 Britain is nowhere near lifting the lockdown measures it put in place to tackle the spread of the coronavirus as the peak is still more than a week away, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said on Wednesday.
The UK is preparing to enter its third week in lockdown, with people instructed to stay at home to curb the spread of coronavirus. But how long is it likely to last and who will decide when and how to end the restrictions?
