Anna Wintour and William Ivey Long definitely succeeded in making the 2015 Tony Awards red carpet more fashionable than ever.
Tony Awards red carpet co-hosts Darren Criss and Laura Osnes spoke with Wintour on the carpet about her involvement in the process: “It’s been a fantastic experience and people have been so grateful and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all turned out.” (Video via Courtesy: CBS/Tony Award Productions ) Wintour definitely did her part in helping the stars step out in style for the Broadway award show.
Here are some of our favorite looks of the night.
Jennifer Grey stunned in a white Zac Posen, while Elisabeth Moss wore a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta with floral accents.
Ballerina Misty Copeland looked beautiful in a body-hugging white dress.
Kendall Jenner wore a coral long-sleeved mini dress, while her model BFF Bella Hadid arrived with fashion designer Prabal Gurung in one of his designs. Singer Thalia and Broadway veteran Annaleigh Ashford went for bright colors; Ashford wore a bright green Zac Posen, while Thalia chose a yellow backless dress. Our final favorite gowns of the night were floral ensembles worn by Joan Smalls and Vanessa Hudgens.
Smalls wore a black dress with green flowers, and Hudgens stole the show in a Naeem Khan. As for the guys... well, you really can't go wrong.
Joe Manganielllo, Nick Jonas and James Monroe Iglehart looked handsome in their suits.
And then there's Bradley Cooper, who had the best accessories of the night: his mom and sister. Long and Wintour wanted to have outfits on the carpet that would be memorable, and we think it's safe to say that mission has been accomplished.
