So when a cyclist in salt lake... met a man willing to sell his for a mere 300 dollars... he knew he had to get that bike back to it's original owner.
Don so, the good samaritan bought the bike outside a 7- eleven ... and then... as good 4 utah's kimberly nelson tells us... he began a journey to give the bike away.

Kevin hashimoto - bought bike to return to owner -"i've upgraded almost every single part on this bike so every single piece o this bike means a to me."
Kimberly nel- "so knowing what he knows about bikes, when kevin saw a really nice bike here at this 7-eleven with an owner that didn't ite seem to fit, he decided to take action."
Kevin hashimoto - bought bike to return to ner -"i saw this guy roll in on a really high end bicycle so i just started asking him some questions about it, the wheels, where he got it and things like that and he couldn tell me anytng about it."
Kevin hashimo: "the biggest thing that struck me as odd was the bike was too big for him, probably two sizes to big fo him.
He had the se post lowered all the way and then riding in torn jeans and shoes that didn't clip into the pedals."
Kimberly so kevin did the unthinkable.
He went inse the 7-eleven on 8th south and 200 east and pulled out 300 dollars - and offered to buy the bike.
Kevin hashimoto: "when i knew that it probably wasn't his to begin with i wanteto get it back to see if i could get it back to the rightful owner."
Kimberly then kevin put an ad online - "recovered felt f1 sl" it was posted april 7th... and been shared all over hits.
Media - but still no kevin hashimoto: "it hasn't been report stolen.
I contacted police, looked at the stolen bike registry nothing there.
Just had no luck so far."
Kimberlyhile the owner hasn't been found - the story of kevin's good deed has spread.
