Lots of trees, wreaths, and good stuff.

The trout museum of art in downtown appleton.

That's where you need to come down in the month of november.

Get going this friday with a light up night.

That's a new thing.

This is the third year of the festival of trees.

Molly frederick, marketing manager, tell us about it to this friday evening.

>> guest: we are kicking off the holidays this friday with light up night at 4:30 p.m.

At houdini plaza.

It's our first time doing this event.

As the first annual light up night.

It will be fun family activities, live performances, food, and so much fun.

>> anthony: the festival of trees runs for a few weeks.

>> guest: starting friday, our third annual festival of trees kicks off.

Our gallery is full of beautiful decorated with wreaths and trees and available for silent bidding donated by local artist organizations and anyone willing to donate pieces.

It's a way to change it up in your home.

>> anthony: let's get into a few of these trees that you can bid on.

We are calling this dinner for six.

Apparently there's a dinner that can come to your home.

Heirloom kitchen will prepare a seven course meal with wine pairings.we think is going to be a really popular one.

We are calling this noel.

It's christmas time.

>> guest: this is a nontraditional take on a tree.

Kind of a woman's christmas.

It's a piece created by local artist.

A different spin on the holidays.

>> anthony: that's another item you can bid on at the festival of trees.

Let's shift gears this way and go to the home school tree.

Kids working on that one.

>> guest: this is called the greatest story ever told.

It's created by unleashed.

That's a homeschool group.

Students created the ornaments.

It's a cool touch and unique and was very generous of them to create those.

>> anthony: these are homeschooled students.

Very cool.

This is another interesting one.

Multiple paintings formed and what appears to be a christmas tree.

>> guest: this is an artful christmas this was a painting party hosted by richardson school of art and galleries.

>> anthony: each piece can be bid on.

There's an overall effect.

We have appleton rock school and so many different live performances happening at houdini plaza as well as in our gallery and along college avenue.

Art activities for kids.

We can write letters to santa appeared lots of fun, delicious food.

We are going to have timorous cakes and delicious grapes.

Something for everyone.

Be part of the lighting ceremony with free glow necklaces.

It will be so much fun.
