Kellyanne Conway: Staff Shakeup Coming After John McCain 'Leak Scandal'
“I think the president is on solid ground here.”????Amid fallout over the white house’s latest leak, counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway telling Fox News she expects to see a staff shakeup.????“Do you expect personal changes as a result? // I do, actually, yes, I do.”????That question coming after President Trump tweeted, “The so-called leaks coming out of the White House are a massive over exaggeration put out by the Fake News Media in order to make us look as bad as possible.
With that being said, leakers are traitors and cowards, and we will find out who they are!”????“You ought to be competent, you ought to be loyal…”????The white house is in damage control after The Hill was one of the first outlets to report white house aide Kelly Sadler, in an internal meeting, mocked Senator John McCain’s brain cancer diagnosis, dismissing his opposition to Gina Haspel’s nomination to lead the CIA reportedly saying it “doesn’t matter” because “he’s dying anyway.” The comments causing an immediate uproar.
But the white house hasn’t offered any such apology.????“I’m not going to validate a leak one way or the other out of an internal staff meeting.”????Rather doubling down that it’s the leak itself that’s the problem, but adding the matter has been handled “internally.”
