Two monster wildfires burned out of control on Saturday in northern and southern California, killing at least 11 people and forcing hundreds of thousands to flee their homes.

The death toll from 2 massive wildfires raging in California - rising to 11 on Saturday.

The Woolsey wildfire in Southern California doubling in size, spreading over 70,000 acres, killing 2 people and damaging thousands of homes and businesses in its path.

SOUNDBITE LA SHERIFF'S DEPT CHIEF JOHN BENEDICT saying: "We ask people to not go back into those areas, because quite frankly it's not safe." Bumper-to-bumper traffic piled up along California's Pacific Coast Highway as nearly 250,000 people scrambled to evacuate... The blaze hitting upscale beach communities like Malibu.

" Trump early on Saturday tweeting that "gross mismanagement of forests" was to blame for the two unchecked wildfires, adding "Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!," Those words providing little comfort to those impacted by the fires, some who lost everything and will need to start from scratch.
