You did the research, booked your ticket, and are finally heading for that vaca you so deserve ??But if you’re idea of vacationing is staying glued to your phone the whole time - resorts all over the world are here to tell you ??You’re doing it all wrong ??ABC News reports from snorkeling tours to s’mores hotels are offering perks to guests willing to ditch their phones ??And some have even banned phones during certain times by the pool or in public places ??According to ABC News A rep for Wyndham Hotels said everyone wants to disconnect - they just need a little courage??The hotel chain started seeing a trend of more people by the pool - but with 3 types of devices.

So they started offering free snacks and prime pool spots for those checking in their phones ??And it looks like its working - Over the last few months, ABC News reports 250 people have taken advantage of the program ??The Grand Velas Riviera Maya in Mexico offers an unusual approach.

Guests check in their phones and then have to earn them back by doing activities.??And the Ayana resort in Bali bans phones from 9-5 ??It’s not great if you’re trying to be an Instagram model ??But for everyone else, free perks are well worth it.
