WARNING! There is Now Nothing We Can Do to Stop Rising Arctic Temperatures

So a new paper published by the UN says that a sharp rise in arctic temperatures is now inevitable.

????The paper pretty much says that even if we meet fix our carbon emissions problem tomorrow, there’s still nothing we can do to stop the temperature rise in the arctic.

????The region will still warm by up to 5 degrees Celcius by the end of the century.

????We’ve essentially gone past the point of no return and put out too much greenhouse gas to where we can’t escape the effects now.

????And while this is certainly a problem for the Arctic, the rest of the world will also face the consequences in the form of sea level rise.

????This will cause coastal flooding, erosion, damage to building and infrastructure, screw up ecosystems and drive mass human migration.

????And Arctic permafrost is expected to shrink by 45% which will release billions of tons of carbon and methane into the atmosphere.????Once that happens, temperatures will rise even more and could bring about more frequent wildfires, habitat loss and more infrastructure damage.

????So bottom line, if we don’t act soon and fix our planet’s warming problem now, we could be in big trouble sooner rather than later.
