We like to see chris' thermometer go up... but not the one taking your kid's temperature.
And if they haven't gotten their shots this season... it's still not too late.
We know you don't want to spend spring break at the doctor's office... but health officials say there's good reason to.
Josh spreiter's back from his own spring break to tell us why.
If you feel like you get sick every time you travel you aren't alone.
With how much traveling people are doing this week - state health officials say it's a prime time for people to get the flu or even measles.
Both are going around right now.
Flu rates have climbed through march and aren't expected to peak until well into april.
Health officials are also worried about the spread of measles.
People traveling tend to make these outbreaks worse ... which is why health officials are stressing the importance of getting those shots before you get on a plane or pile into the family car.
((( , " that's how many times outbreaks start, is that one person contracts the disease and brings it back and it spreads to others who are unprotected.
"))) when it comes to the flu ... you might be wondering if you need a second flu shot for the new strain going around.
The department of health services says that strain is covered ... so as long as you had your flu shot already ... you should be protected.
And of course ... if you haven't had it yet ... now's a good time to do it even if you aren't traveling... since it looks like flu season could last for another month yet.
