Ford Sees Demand For Trucks Increase In China

A growing number of drivers in China are purchasing pickup trucks.

The new interest in the vehicles is expanding the market beyond traditional demand for farm, construction and maintenance work.

According to Automotive News, pickup demand has increased in the country following a loosening of government restrictions.

Last year China became the world’s second-biggest pickup truck market, spurring Great Wall Motor Co, China’s largest pickup manufacturer, and Ford Motor Co.to bolster product lines.
