ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Former U.S. President Barack Obama discussed immigration and climate change on Saturday (April 6) with young activists from across Europe.

The town hall event in Berlin, attended by around 300 youth leaders from 35 countries, was hosted by the Obama Foundation.

Obama candidly answered questions, delving into how he and his wife Michelle approached parenting and the importance of raising young leaders.

On Friday he met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel for private, closed door talks at the chancellery.

Michelle Obama has recently been promoting her memoir "Becoming," which was released in the United States and in 28 languages around the world.
