Study: Wellness Programs At Work Aren't Working Very Well
Healthy employees are good business for companies, because it allows them to put in more hours at work.
As such, many companies put workplace wellness programs in place, hoping their employees will become slender, fit non-smokers.
However, UPI reports a new study from Harvard says those programs might not be working.
The study found that while workplace wellness programs led to some healthier behaviors, they didn't lower blood pressure, body mass index, or cholesterol.
