Trash That Snake! - Queensland Couple Use Wheelie Bin to Relocate '6-Meter Whopper Python'

Bernadette Mauro and her partner Scott Ervin faced the task of evicting a gigantic snake from their property in Lower Tully, Queensland.

Mauro told Storyful, “we noticed our rooster wasn’t crowing and went to check if everything was ok, it didn’t talk long to find a 6m whopper python!

He was curled up happily digesting his meal underneath one of our mango trees”.

Mauro and Ervin enlisted the help of their friend David Barra to remove the rapacious reptile.

Once they’d captured the snake, they used a wheelie bin to transport it away from their home.
