Tornado in oktibbeha county saturday left behind some damage at mississippi state university.
Wtvas nicole dantzler joins us live to tell us what the extent of the university's damage is... workers were seen cleaning up what was left after the storm hit here at the university's h.h leveck animal research center at the south farm.
The storm knocked dozens of trees down, damaged several fences and destroyed a hay barn that crews have already cleared away.
Workers began removing most of the trees and scrap tin from the site and hauled them away in trucks.
Fence repairs are also underway.
Mississippi state university says the tornado caused about $300,000 worth of damage to their h.h leveck animal research center.
Residents near the area say the tornado started near this area saturday night and moved toward highway 25 and into craig springs.
