Ford Invests $500 Million In Electric Truck Maker Rivian

Electric Truck maker Rivian is getting help from the company that makes the best-selling pickup truck of all time: Ford.

According to Digital Trends, Ford is investing $500 million in Rivian for a series of future electric pickup trucks.

Rivian plans to build both vehicles at a former Mitsubishi factory in Normal, Illinois.

The first trucks are expected to be delivered to customers in 2020 with prices starting at $69,000 for the R1T, and $72,500 for the R1S.
