Las Vegas Revenues Down As Asian Gamblers Shy Away

Business Insider reports revenues in gambling mecca Las Vegas fell 4% year-on-year for the first quarter.

Weakness was particularly notable in baccarat, which is a favorite of Asian gamblers.

However, gaming revenues for local customers were up a solid 7%.

Las Vegas Sands said more VIP customers were continuing their long-term shift to Macau over Vegas.
