ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION Democratic 2020 candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden told reporters he thinks Attorney General William Barr has "lost the confidence of the American people" during a campaign event in Des Moines, Iowa on Wednesday (May 1).

CBS News reported that Biden was in Des Moines to speak at a gathering at the city's River Center.

When asked by reporters whether he thought Barr should resign, Biden said "I think he's lost the confidence of the American people.

I think he should".

The democratic candidate for President had held his first campaign even in Iowa on Tuesday (April 30).
