The Democratic field may offer many choices for the 2020 election but a new poll shows that most of the frontrunners could defeat President Trump.

New Poll Shows Beto O’Rourke May be Strongest Candidate to Take on Trump

The 2020 Democratic field may be crowded…????...but a new poll shows that five of the leading six candidates could beat President Trump.????A new survey conducted by CNN and SSRS, voters had the option of Trump or a Democratic candidate.????Of the more than 1,000 voters questioned, 33 percent identified as Democrats, 26 percent as Republicans and 41 percent said they were Independents or for another party.

????In the simulations, former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke performed the best against Trump…????...toppling him 52 percent to 42 percent, the largest winning margin of any candidate.????Former Vice President Joe Biden was the next best, beating Trump 51 percent to 45 percent.????Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders emerged victorious, 50 percent to 44 percent over Trump.????Kamala Harris missed out on getting half of the voters, but the California Senator was still ahead of Trump 49 percent to 45 percent.????South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg captured 47 percent of the votes compared to Trump at 44 percent.????And narrowly defeated by Trump was Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren…????...the only candidate in the survey that did not win a majority against the President.
