Infected blood scandal: Children who lost parents in 'deserve financial support'

Children who lost parents through the contaminated blood products scandal have been "neglected" and deserve financial support, an inquiry heard.

Lauren Palmer lost her parents Stephen and Barbara within eight days of each other in 1993 when she was nine years old after her father had been given infected blood products for his severe haemophilia and passed the virus to her mother.
