Central Park Five Prosecutor Objects to Ava DuVernay’s ‘When They See Us’ Linda Fairstein, the prosecutor involved in the “Central Park Jogger” case, has voiced her disapproval of the new Netflix miniseries, ‘When They See Us.’ Fairstein claims that Felicity Huffman's portrayal of her in the Ava DuVernay miniseries is “a totally and completely untrue picture of events and my participation.” Raymond Santana, one of the men persecuted by Fairstein, told TMZ that the prosecutor should pay for her role in their convictions, “even if it’s 30 years later.” Fairstein, who has publicly defended her stance on the case for years, has also gone as far as to claim DuVernay is responsible for a public campaign against her.

Linda Fairstein, to The Daily Beast #cancellindafairstein has been trending on Twitter since the release of the miniseries along with a petition to pull all of her novels from retailers.
