Trump Orders Troops Sent For 'National Emergency' To Paint The Wall

Business Insider reports US troops deployed to the southern border will spend a month painting President Donald Trump's border wall.

An email sent by the Department of Homeland Security to Congress revealed the news and Senator Dick Durbin confirmed the plans on Twitter.

Durbin condemned the move as a waste of taxpayer's money.

Thousands of active-duty US military were deployed to the US-Mexico border starting last October to handle what Trump called a "national emergency.
