Pro-Abortion Rights Activists Chant Outside Missouri Governor's Mansion
A crowd of pro-abortion rights demonstrators rallied outside the Missouri Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City on Saturday, June 22, a day after health officials refused to renew a license for the state’s last abortion-providing clinic in St Louis.
Despite the state’s decision to refuse a license to the Planned Parenthood clinic, Circuit Court Judge Michael Stelzer on Friday held up an injunction granted on June 10 that allowed the clinic to keep providing abortions.
The future of the clinic remained unclear, NBC reported.
