Two U.S. Service Members Killed By Gunfire In Afghanistan

Reuters reports two U.S. service members were killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday.

The NATO-led Resolute Support mission shared the news in a statement but did not give any further details, and it won't share the names of the service members until next of kin are informed.

A U.S. official said the service members had died of gunshot wounds sustained during a joint patrol with Afghan security forces.

The two deaths came less than 24 hours after U.S.
